Inspiration Behind the Music

Without faith, it is impossible to please God. Without faith, the Christian experience would be out of reach. It is the only means to become qualified for Heaven. It is the only way to build characters like Christ and to reflect his light to others. Without faith, no one would be able to receive the gift of God’s grace. (Ephesians 2:8) Faith is the vehicle we use to get from one point in our Christian experience to another. Could this be the reason why we are all on different levels in our Christian walk? Keeping the metaphor of a vehicle in mind, why is it that the faith of some seems to carry them much farther along in the Christian experience than others? Could it be that the faith of many is without fuel? If so, then what is the fuel and how can we refuel our faith? The bible provides the answer to this vital question. Here it is

Romans 10 17 “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
There it is. No word of God no Faith. When was the last time you studied God’s word to know his will for your life? When was the last time you decided to do what his word says in spite of your circumstance? The hearing that strengthens your faith and mine isn’t superficial. It isn’t just listening to God’s word being read or being preached, but a willingness to conduct our lives according to his revealed will. (Matthew 4:4) It is intentionally hiding his word in our hearts so that we can remember his promises and claim them when we are tempted to sin. (PS119:11)

If you are struggling with certain sins that you just can’t seem to overcome, try hiding God’s word in your heart. It will be the restraining power that keeps you from falling. It will be the reason why you will look back at your life and say, “I’m so different than I was then.” When you find yourself feeling like too much time has gone by without any progress in your walk with Jesus, you need to refuel your faith. God’s word is the fuel and the only price you will have to pay is attention. We are told that now is the acceptable time of salvation. (2 Corinthians 6:2) However, Salvation only comes through faith and if you are running low, now is the time to refuel your faith. When you ever find yourself feeling disconnected from Jesus, look to his word and take heed to it, continue in it and you will be set free and sanctified by the truths contained in it.

I would love your feedback. feel free to let me know what you think about the inspiration behind the music. Do you have any other ideas of how faith can be refueled?

  2. I really enjoyed your inspirational thought, it is a blessing for me and I share that same thought to others along the way. Keep up the good work as many young people are also depending on you to keep them focused. Thanks and be blessed.

  3. The word of God truly is the fuel of faith.
And yes your right I can testify that I’m am not the same person today as yesterday because of perseverance in the daily word and being reminded of the way of true life hid with Jesus.
It’s a practice, it’s a battle and an overwhelming joy when a glimpse of fruit is seen.
    God bless brother.

  4. Dear Neville, Love your music, the Lord has blessed you so much!!! I am grateful to have been able to buy your collection. It was my tax return gift to myself and everyone in my house. Maybe even the neighbors I play them so loudly. Thank you for your dedication. I can not subscribe at this time but will soon.

God will continue to bless you and your ministry. Amen,

    Martha

  5. Brother Neville,

It is a delight to receive your music and the inspirational thoughts are an added bonus! I’m ashamed to admit that I have not kept up with all of the emails I have received but out of those I have read, the December 19th inspirational message based on the thought ” I Believe” has been my favorite thus far. The thought that members of the clergy were unsure of their answer when questioned by the bolder athiests, boggles my mind. My answer would have been a resounding “Yes!, I do believe that Lot’s wife was turned into a pillar of salt. Why? Because I have faith…if God said it, I believe it!”. Thank you for continuing to bless us with your beautiful voice. May God continue to bless and keep you.

ps. Hope to see you back in Bermuda again sometime soon, when it is safer to travel, God willing!
