Lift Up Your Eyes

First verse
There he is sitting in a dungeon, solitary and cold. He’s smiling in spite of his situation. It is well with his soul, but when morning comes,

the precious life that is will be no more, oh but he has hope over on the other shore.

There he is no one to stand beside him to the death for the right, oh but he’s standing firm just like a soldier facing his plight. The love of Jesus Christ surrounds him but no one else can see and he smiles to himself and says it is well with me.

Chorus
He was lifting his eyes to the hills; to the source of all strength wear heeling waters flow. So, lift up your eyes to the hills to the one who is able to keep you in the fraternity of the faithful.

Second verse
Hear am I with a good news commandment from the master to go and tell all the nations all the villages and people so the whole world can know. Precious lord I’m praying that you will give me Courage to stand and to hold on to your unchanging hand.

Chorus
I will lift up my eyes to the hills to the source of all strength ware heeling waters flow. So, lift up your eyes to the hills to the one who is able to keep you in the fraternity of the faithful.
