Ten Virgins
First verse
There were ten little virgins five foolish and five wise waiting anxiously to give themselves away; to that special man, the bridegroom on their wedding day. Five had everything they needed. The Bridegroom took them in. The other five procrastinated and there were no second chances;
Chorus
And he left them with their heads hanging down. Oh yes he left them with their faces to the ground. They were not ready for his coming and he left them, he left them.
Second Verse
They all expected his coming. Oh yes they all believed, but they did not know when or where or how. Guess, they all grew tired of waiting and so they fell a sleep. Then mid knight came and the call went out behold the bridegroom’s here. Pore foolish ones, they procrastinated and there were no second chances.
Chorus
And he left them with their heads hanging down. Oh yes he left them with their faces to the ground. They were not ready for his coming and he left them, he left them.
